Radiohead Dragged into Wall Street Hoax

Word spread like wildfire among thousands of "Occupy Wall Street" protesters today -- Radiohead was about to perform a FREE concert for the demonstrators -- but turns out it was a cruel joke.In case you're not up on low finances -- Wall Street has been overrun with protesters, who are complaining about sweeping injustices in corporate America.
Somehow, word got out that Radiohead would perform a concert for the demonstrators -- and it snowballed ... fast ... with multiple news outlets picking up the story.
Problem is ... no one told Radiohead -- so the band released this statement: "We wish the best of luck to the protesters there, but contrary to earlier rumuors, we will not be appearing today at Occupy Wall Street."
No word where the bogus announcement started.

A diamond isn't always forever ... sometimes it's only for 6 months -- especially for Hugh Hefner's ex-fiancee Crystal Harris ... who just put her engagement ring on a pretty famous auction block!
TMZ has learned ... the platinum ring, which boasts a 3.39 carat circular-cut diamond -- will be auctioned off by Christie's in NYC next month.
According to the listing, the ring is expected to sell somewhere in the range of $20 -$30k.
Sources close to Crystal tell us ... the former Playboy model "couldn't bear to look at the ring anymore because it brought back bad memories."
Think how the guy who paid for that rock feels ... right, Hef?

Rob Kardashian is like one of Pavlov's dogs ... a little praise from "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba has him thinking he's got a shot to win the whole competition.
After Rob danced the jive on Monday ... Carrie Ann said, "It's official. Rob Kardashian is a better dancer than Kim Kardashian!"
Now sources close to the show tell us Rob is hitting the gym daily, practicing harder than ever -- and sucking up to his partner/teacher Cheryl Burke by bringing her lunch each day.
Rob's new attitude is a 180 from a few weeks ago -- when he was a total slacker.

Rival Maccabee Producer: We're Gonna Beat Mel Gibson!

Mel Gibson's Hanukkah movie is in trouble -- TMZ has learned, another company is currently making their own Judah Maccabee film ... and they're racing to beat Mel to the punch.
Sources close to the production tell us, the untitled Judah film -- by producer Bruce Nash and writer Scott Abbott -- was fast-tracked once news broke that Mel was putting together his own Maccabee homage.
We're told Nash believes Mel is the wrong person to helm such an important Jewish story -- telling friends, the Hanukkah tale should be told by someone who has respect for the Jewish community.
As we previously reported, Mel's been developing his J Macc film for 10 years -- and sources tell us Nash has been working on his for 15. Nash doesn't have a shoot date yet, but the race is on.

WWE Star Jimmy Uso Arrested for DUI

WWE star Jimmy Uso -- son of the great Stinkface-inflicting Rikishi -- was arrested in Florida early this morning on suspicion of DUI ... TMZ has learned.Tampa Police tell TMZ, an officer observed Uso at approximately 3 a.m. driving the wrong way down a one-way street in a silver Mustang ... and pulled him over.
According to the arrest report, Uso took a breathalyzer test after showing "multiple signs of impairment" -- including slurred speech and glassy eyes. The breathalyzer registered a blood alcohol level of .180 ... over twice the legal limit in Florida.
Uso was arrested on the scene and is currently being held on $500 bond.
Fun fact: Rikishi is The Rock's cousin -- which makes Uso ... Rock's second cousin? Genealogy is confusing.
